A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Wednesday following a probation check. About 5 p.m., a deputy went to a home in the 6400 block of Yucca Avenue in Twentynine Palms for a felony probation check on Erik Edwards, 35, who has several convictions for burglary, drugs, and resisting arrest. During a probation search, the deputy located methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. Erik Edwards was arrested for investigation of unlawful sale of speed, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
