Pre-pandemic kudos for Twentynine Palms Junior High School. Staff, faculty, and students were informed in January that the school would be recognized by the California League of Middle Schools, being accepted into the league’s “California 2019 Schools to Watch” program. Schools to Watch

The “Schools to Watch” program is both a national recognition and a 3-year commitment for high-performing middle schools to share their best programs with other Schools. Twentynine Palms Junior High School completed the rigorous application process, providing proof of the success of its programs that support student achievement and areas of continuous improvement. A team from Twentynine Palms Junior High School was recognized at the California League of Middle Schools’ annual conference on March 5 where they presented a session on the school’s awarded practices.
