The National POW/MIA Recognition Day event at the Palm Springs Air Museum has been postponed until March 2021. The National POW/MIA Recognition Day is normally held in September to honor soldiers who were prisoners of war (POW) as well as those who are still missing in action (MIA). Originally scheduled for September 18 at the Palm Springs Air Museum, the third annual event has been postponed until Friday, March 26, 2021 due to health concerns and travel restrictions related to COVID-19. Anyone scheduled to attend the event should contact Dr. Dave Thompson at the Palm Springs Air Museum.
