A Presidential Primary poll will take place and poll workers are needed. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsits with more…Poll workers are needed for the June 7 Presidential Primary in San Bernardino County. More than 3,000 poll workers will be paid between $115 and $190 for working June 7. Poll workers are typically in or near their own neighborhoods. Workers must be registered to vote in California, attend at least one two-hour training class, and be able on Election Day from 6 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. Many precincts require bilingual workers who speak Chinese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese; those providing such language assistance receive extra pay.
