In French the phrase, “en plein air” means “in fresh air” and usually refers to outdoor painting. Copper Mountain College is offering a community class taught by noted artist and muralist Art Mortimer. The Fundamentals of Plein Air Painting gives you the chance to take a breath of fresh air while learning landscape painting techniques. The class will run six sessions on Fridays from 9 until noon from January 16 through February 27. Class size is limited, so enroll now by visiting the college website at www.cmccd.edu.
