Two people were killed in a single-engine plane crash near Big Morongo Canyon Preserve Saturday. KEYT-TV in Santa Barbara identified the victims as Bob Trimble and Terri Day of Santa Barbara. Trimble was the general manager of Accurate Aviation in Santa Barbara; Day was the fiancee of the owner of the company. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash, described as 7,500 feet up in the San Bernardino Mountains. A NTSB spokesman said it could be a year before a full report on the crash is released.
