A Pioneertown woman was killed following a crash in Twentynine Palms Saturday, September 28. The Riverside County Coroner confirmed to Z107.7 today (October 4) that Stephanie Davison, 53, died after being transported to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. According to the Sheriff’s Department, Davison was traveling westbound in a 2007 white Suzuki on State Route 62 near Mantonya at the west end of Twentynine Palms about 2:20 p.m. Witnesses said the driver swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2014 black Mini Cooper. Stephanie Davison suffered head and neck trauma and was taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. She died of her injuries at the hospital. The juvenile was taken by MBA to Hi-Desert Medical Center. It does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
