A Pioneertown man was arrested Wednesday, accused of assault with a deadly weapon. Yucca Valley Sheriff’s deputies stopped Jonathan Liebrenz, 34, near Pioneertown Road and Pipes Canyon Road at about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. Jonathan Liebrenz was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm, booked into the Morongo Basin jail, and was released about 1 a.m. Thursday on a $50,000 bail bond.
