PIONEER DAYS PET PARADE SUNDAY

Enter your pet in the 15th annual Pioneer Days pet parade in Twentynine Palms Sunday. The parade starts at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Utah Trail and Joe Davis Drive and continues west on the sidewalk. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, pet/owner look alike, loudest howler, most unusual pet, tallest and smallest dog, highest jumper, best trick, and ugliest pet. All pets must be on a leash and must remain on the sidewalk at all times. Pets weighing up to 250 pounds are permitted, but no horses, llamas, cows, or bulls. The entry fee is $5, with additional pets $1 each. Pre-register at Palms N Paws animal shelter or at 9 a.m. the day of the parade. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
