Joining Irma Wilburn, who raised her family in Twentynine Palms during her husband’s, Sergeant Major (retired), Ray Kilburns’ four tours of duty here, as Grand Marshal of the 80th annual Pioneer Days Parade in Twentynine Palms, Dorothy (Einerson) Angil has been named 2016 Pioneer Day’s Military Grand Marshal. Angil enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Women’s Reserve on February 24, 1943. Irma Wilburn and Dorothy Angil will lead the Pioneer Days Parade on Twentynine Palms Highway and Adobe Road at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22.
