Do you pickleball? It’s sort of a smaller version of tennis crossed with badminton, pickleball is one of the most new sports of the last decade. And the Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department has announced to pickleball programs this autumn.
Tonight, the town launches a their pickleball ladder league, which will be held every Thursday evening for the next 8 weeks. The league costs $40 for the whole season, though players can drop in for just $5 a game. The league starts tonight at 6:30 p.m.
On Wednesdays, the town will offer pickleball clinics for players to hone their skills on the pickleball court. These two hour sessions begin every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and cost $80 for the entire season or $10 per session.
Both the league and the clinics are held at the Jacobs Park pickleball courts.
