It was an exciting weekend for the community in Twentynine Palms as they celebrated the grand opening of Freedom Plaza, formerly known as Project Phoenix. The Saturday (March 12) celebration saw vendors, live bands, silent disco, a beer garden, and many speeches from public officials.
