If you live in Yucca Valley and are curious about the status of your sewer hookup, the Hi-Desert Water District is holding an open house event on May 14.
The event offers an opportunity for the public to learn about the Phase 2 Sewer Project and upcoming construction work set to begin this summer in the Country Club neighborhood of Yucca Valley.
During the open house, community members will have the chance to engage directly with HDWD project team members and get detailed information about the scope of construction, areas that will be impacted, and how private property connections will be handled. One of the key topics will be the Western Joshua Tree Mitigation Plan, which is an ongoing environmental protection initiative being worked on by the state of California.
For those who cannot attend in person, more information about the Phase 2 Sewer Project is available online at www.hdwd.com/phase2sewer. Residents may also call 760-365-8333 or email info@hdwd.com with questions or to request materials.
The meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. on May 14 at the Hi Desert Water District office, located at 55439 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.
