Permaculture Workshops at Lou Harrison House from 9/29 to 10/8

The Lou Harrison House continues their Permaculture workshop programming this week, running Monday (September 29) through October 8. Led by Warren Brush, the two-week Permaculture course includes a smattering of experts, advisors, and builders who will show how to build in the desert with a focus on maintaining local environmental conditions and plant life, minimizing impact on our desert, and maximizing the use of resources.

The tour is hosted by the Lou Harrison House in Joshua tree, but involves field trips and site visits throughout the desert. The full course is offered on a sliding scale from $1850 to $2500, and you can attend individual days for $100 each. This includes breakfast and lunch.
