PEDESTRIANS HIT IN TWENTYNINE PALMS AND YUCCA VALLEY

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating car versus pedestrian incident in both Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley
A Twentynine Palms woman was clipped by a car as she was walking on Hatch Road late Saturday night. According to a Sheriff’s report, the woman said she was walking home from the casino about midnight when she was sideswiped by the mirror from a dark colored SUV traveling toward Stater Brothers. The vehicle continued driving without stopping. The collision knocked the woman to the ground and she told deputies she crawled home. She was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center and treated for her injuries. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
And Yucca Valley police are investigating a case of hit-and-run that happened late Friday night. According to a Sheriff’s report, a pedestrian was in the crosswalk at Sage Avenue and Yucca Trail about 10:30 p.m. Friday when an unknown vehicle pulled out and hit the pedestrian. The driver of the car left the scene eastbound on Yucca Trail. The pedestrian was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center to be treated for injuries sustained.
