A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Twentynine Palm last night (April 1). At 8:27 p.m., a 25-year-old woman tried to cross Highway 62 at Estrella Avenue, in front of the Rite-Aid store. There is no cross walk there. The woman was hit by a vehicle. Morongo Basin Ambulance arrived on scene to find deputies giving CPR to the woman. MBA took her to Hi-Desert Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. Z107.7 will have more information as is becomes available.
