PEDESTRIAN KILLED WHILE CROSSING THE HIGHWAY IDENTIFIED

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office has identified the pedestrian killed Friday in Twentynine Palms as 62-year-old Michael Hryzan of Twentynine Palms. Hryzan was crossing Highway 62 at Mesquite Avenue about 8 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. Michael Hryzan was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at 8:33 p.m. The identity of the decedent has not yet been confirmed and the family has not been located.
