PEDESTRIAN KILLED WHILE CROSSING HIGHWAY IN YUCCA VALLEY THURSDAY NIGHT

A pedestrian was killed Thursday night when he was hit on the highway near the Home Depot in Yucca Valley. The 76-year-old Yucca Valley resident, who has not been identified yet, was crossing the highway near Hermosa Avenue about 10:40 p.m. when he was hit and killed by a 2015 Jeep Wrangler traveling westbound on the highway. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk.
