A pedestrian was critically injured in Twentynine Palms Tuesday after he was hit by a car. About 1:30 p.m., the man, who has not been identified, was walking on Two Mile Road near the intersection of Hall Lane when he was hit by a vehicle. The Morongo Basin Major Accident Investigation Team was called and is currently conducting the investigation. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital and is currently being treated for serious injuries.
