Rainbow Stew will hold an evening of peace chanting in honor of the Winter Solstice on Friday, December 21, at 7 p.m. Arrive early; the doors will be locked at 6:55 p.m. Chanting usually goes on for about an hour. Rainbow Stew is located on the south side of the highway in Old Town Yucca Valley.

The “I Heart Myself” comedy improv workshop is all about playing, learning, and, of course, laughing. The workshop focuses on self-awareness through improv games, exercises, journaling, comedy, and much more. Learn to silence your inner critic, build trust, listen well, adapt to changes more easily, and to get comfortable thinking on your feet. The cost is $20 per person and takes place on Sunday, December 23, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Rainbow stew, located at 55509 Twentynine Palms highway in Yucca Valley.
