A project to rehabilitate the pavement on State Route 62 from Yucca Valley to Twentynine Palms stretching from Yucca Mesa Road to Bermuda Avenue continues this week with lane closures. The project will grind the existing roadway and replace with new material. Lanes in both directions will be intermittently closed from White Feather Road to Barranca Street between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. beginning Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21. No weekend work will be done. The project is expected to be completed late August.
