The Twentynine Palms Historical Society has announced that Pat Rimmington is its Old Timer of the Year for the 2019 Pioneer Days celebration. Rimmington and her husband Sid moved to Twentynine Palms permanently in 1988. She is the author of the book “The Adobes of Twentynine Palms” and she has been heavily involved in the historical society. She served as a tour guide at Keys Ranch in Joshua Tree National Park.
