A portion of Palomar Avenue in Yucca Valley will be closed Tuesday for street maintenance. The road will be closed to all traffic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. between Joshua Drive and Onaga Trail, and no parking will be allowed on the street while town maintenance crews maintain the asphalt. Motorists should use alternative roads, such as Joshua Lane and Joshua Drive; formal detour routes will not be established due to the short duration of the road closure.
