The 2019 Miss Yucca valley Scholarship Pageant is this Saturday (February 9) at 6 p.m. in the Joshua Springs Thunderdome. Each day this week we will meet some of the 11 contestants.

Amber Albert’s career ambitions include ultra-sound tech, engineer and lawyer. She excels in AVID, swimming, and is an honor roll student. If chosen Miss Yucca Valley, Amber hopes to be a positive influence and show that despite setbacks, we can all become something great.

Aaliyah Broussard would like to major in biology at a four-year university with an eye towards neurology. If chosen Miss Yucca Valley, Aaliyah would like to help provide youth more fun, educational and cultural opportunities.

Isabella Falossi plans a career in performing arts because of her love of acting, singing, dancing and playing music. If chosen Miss Yucca Valley, Isabella hopes to inspire the youth of our community to get involved and participate in volunteer work and activism.

Tickets for the pageant will be available at the door.
