When students are choosing a career path after high school, one area to consider is architecture. In part one of a two part story, we asked Ann Congdon, a local retired architect, about the job availability of an architect. She told us that job availability is related to the economy and area; when new construction lags, jobs are scarce. An architect in the Morongo Basin could keep busy if they were diversified in different types of projects. We will continue with this news story tomorrow in part 2.
