A Joshua Tree man was arrested early Wednesday morning after he was found with a concealed knife while trespassing inside a vacant vacation home. Sheriff’s deputies were called about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning by a neighbor who saw people with flashlights walking around and inside an empty vacation home in the 56100 block of Yuma Trail in Yucca Valley.

The responding deputy located Kenneth Warner, 36, in the home’s backyard. Warner was on parole; during a search of Warner, the deputy found a knife in Warner’s boot. Kenneth Warner was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of a dirk or dagger, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
