Park entrance fees for Joshua Tree National Park and other national parks will increase as of June 1. The public still has time to purchase the annual park pass for $40 before it increases to $55 Friday. The additional revenue from entrance fees will be used to fund several projects to enhance visitor experience and maintenance. Upcoming projects include a new visitor center at Cottonwood entrance, new trailhead and parking for Samuelson’s Rock, relocation of the West Entrance to help congestion, and a face lift at Black Rock Campground.
