Construction will include pulverizing the existing asphalt surface and paving with new asphalt concrete, placement of new asphalt concrete dikes or raised curbing, painting traffic stripes, and other related improvements. Plans call for Park Boulevard to remain open to one-way traffic with flaggers between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while work is under way, and be open to two-way traffic between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. The roadway will be narrow and unpaved during most the construction period from September 3 through October 28. Various side streets connecting to Park Boulevard may be closed to thru traffic as well.
