Today we wrap up our previews of the stops on this year’s Parade of Homes with a showcase of one of Twentynine Palms’ outstanding properties. The annual Parade of Homes fundraiser brings in thousands of dollars to support services to local senior and disabled residents. Each home on the tour was selected for its artistic, historic or other eclectic qualities. Reporter Mike Lipsitz takes a look at The Tanner House…
Reach Out Morongo Basin’s Parade of Homes offers ticket holders entrance to six special sights. The Tanner House, owned by Lili Tanner in Twentynine Palms, is the easternmost home offered on the tour this year. This wonderful 50’s style ranch home sits on five beautiful acres on the border of Joshua Tree National Park. With a wide open floor plan and the owner’s artistic touches as well as sweeping northern vistas tour goers will be delighted. For Parade of Homes sponsor Z107.7 News, this is assignment reporter Mike Lipsitz.
Tickets to see The Tanner House and the five other homes on the tour are $25. Ticket holders will also enjoy live music and lunch at the Park Rock Café in Joshua Tree. Tickets are available by calling 760-361-1410 and at the 29 Palms and Yucca Valley chambers of commerce, the Reach Out offices in Yucca Valley and 29 Palms, and here at the Z107.7 studios on Hallee Road in Joshua Tree.
