Reach Out Morongo Basin’s annual Parade of Homes is back down to six homes, after the owner of one home had to withdraw from the tour. The annual fund raiser happens Sunday, February 14, and brings in thousands of dollars to support services for area senior and disabled residents. Reach Out Morongo Basin’s Parade of Homes offers ticket holders entrée into six beautiful abodes. One of two featured Joshua Tree homes is Murphy’s Haasienda. The home of Mike and Karan Murphy, this stunning property features unique gabion fences and landscaping as well as multimedia artistic touches inside and out. With outdoor bar, entertaining area, and a standalone art studio, tour goers will be enchanted at each turn.
Tickets to see Murphy’s Haasienda and the five other homes on the tour are $25. Ticket holders will also enjoy live music and lunch at the Park Rock Café in Joshua Tree. Tickets are available by calling 760-361-1410 and at the Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley chambers of commerce, the Reach Out offices in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms, and here at the Z107.7 studios on Hallee Road in Joshua Tree.
