Reach Out Morongo Basin can’t offer its eleventh annual Parade of Homes fundraiser without the help of sponsors. Reporter Rebecca Havely explains how you can help Reach Out and advertise your business at the same time…
The parade date is Sunday, February 15 from noon till 5 p.m. and includes lunch and live music at the Park Rock Café in Joshua Tree. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased in Twentynine Palms at The Chamber of Commerce, The Desert Trail, and Reach Out Morongo Basin office; in Yucca Valley at the Chamber of Commerce and Senior Center, and in Joshua Tree at the Z107.7 studio.
This year the parade of homes stretches from Pioneertown through the west end of the Morongo Basin. Sponsors for this benefit are still being sought. All sponsors receive free parade tickets as well as varying levels of advertisement. Platinum sponsors donate $2,500. The gold level is a $1,000. donation, silver $500., bronze $250. and copper is a $100. donation. To become a sponsor of the event call Reach Out Morongo Basin at 760-361-1410.
