Visitors to Palm Springs, take note. New COVID-19 protocols for area dining and large-scale events were recently approved by the Palm Springs City Council in an emergency meeting Wednesday (August 4). Vaccines will soon be required for customers to go inside restaurants and bars as well as attendees at large-scale area events. Those unvaccinated must show proof of a negative Covid test from within 72 hours of their arrival. Businesses have three weeks to adopt the change, however, some businesses will adopt the new rule as early as Friday (August 6).
