“The Owl and The Pussycat” is the next offering at the Groves Cabin Theatre. The comedy/drama is directed by award winning director Abe Daniels. This play was made into a film in the ’70s with Barbara Streisand and George Segal. Set in San Francisco in the late ’60s, Doris—an aspiring actress, model, and prostitute—begins a complicated love affair with her spying neighbor Felix, an independent hopeful writer. The production stars actress Bianca Danielle Stoker as Doris and actor Jericho McWilliams as Felix. The show will open Saturday, June 3, and runs Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. through June 25. The Groves Cabin Theatre is located at 8753 Desert Willow Trail in Morongo Valley. Tickets are $12 and can be reserved by calling 760-365-4523.
