The Theatre 29 production of “Disney’s Little Mermaid” has sold out all available online seats for the entire five-week run, including two extra matinees. To accommodate those who were not able to get tickets, Theatre 29 is adding overflow seats available for those willing to take a chance. Patrons are advised to get to the box office about a half hour before curtain and will be placed in overflow seating on a first come-first served basis. While there is no guarantee a seat will be available, the arrangement will add about another 20 seats per performance. No one has been turned away to date.
Theatre 29 was among the first Community Theaters in the country to get the Amateur rights to the Broadway Musical version of the classic animated film.
“Disney’s Little Mermaid” will run weekends at Theater 29 through April 10 Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm, with 2:30 pm Sunday matinees April 3rd and April 10th. Tickets are $15 for regular admission, $12 for seniors and military and $10 for children under twelve and students with ID.
Patrons wishing to be put in the “Overflow Seating” section are urged to be at the box office at 6:30 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday evening performances and 2:00 p.m. for the matinees. Theatre 29 is located at 73637 Sullivan Road in the city of Twentynine Palms.
