Tickets for Theatre 29’s production of “Mary Poppins” have sold out, but managing editor Tami Roleff says you can still see this popular show from Disney…
Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family whose children, Jane and Michael, are out of control and need a new nanny. When a mysterious young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep, the family finds that she’s the answer to their prayers, but in the most peculiar way. All online seats for “Mary Poppins” are sold out, but to accommodate some who still hope to get a chance to see the show, overflow seating has been added for each performance. For those willing to take a chance, arrive at the theater box office about a half hour before curtain time. You will be placed on overflow seating list in order of arrival. While there is no guarantee a seat will be available, this arrangement will add 15 to 20 additional seats per performance.
The curtain rises for “Mary Poppins” at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays through March 26. Theatre 29 is located on Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms.
