OVERFLOW SEATING ADDED FOR “A CHRISTMAS STORY” AT THEATRE 29

The classic holiday favorite “A Christmas Story” is enjoying packed audiences at Theatre 29 and is adding overflow seating to accommodate the extraordinary demand for tickets. The comedy, based on the movie, follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker’s quest to get a genuine Red Ryder Air Rifle under the tree as he is continually warned, “You’ll shoot your eye out.” The show, with nine children and three adults in your favorite roles, continues its run with a 2:30 Sunday matinee, as well as tonight’s regular performance at 7 p.m. “A Christmas Story,” directed by Eric Ross, runs weekends through December 17. Tickets are $8 to $15 and are available online at theatre29.org or by calling the Theatre 29 box office at 760-361-4151. “A Christmas Story” is appropriate for all ages.
