Compulsive overeating is a progressive disease that causes physical suffering and shortens lives. Overeaters Anonymous is a support group founded on the same principles as AA. There are two Overeaters Anonymous meetings in the Morongo Basin that meet every week. In Yucca Valley, the group meets Monday from 5:30 to 6:30p.m. at 7434 Bannock Trail; in Joshua Tree the group meets Thursday from 6 to 7p.m. at 6336 Halle Road.
