Joshua Tree brew masters Dario Guerra and Jima Reed are masterminds behind an innovative beer to be introduced at this year’s Morongo Basin Orchid Festival. Sharry Baby-Sweet Fragrance is brewed using the dark maroon Oncidium Orchid and has an aroma like delicately flavored chocolates. The price is $10 for five tastings for guests 21 or older.
Wine by the glass is also available for a fee. The festival will be held at Gubler Orchids, 2220 Belfield Drive in Landers Saturday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission and parking are free.
