Mark your calendar for the 23 rd annual Morongo Basin Orchid Festival Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and 7 in Landers. Two full days of free events beginning at 10 a.m. and including Gubler Orchids greenhouse tours, a judged orchid show, orchid-growing classes, floral arrangements, food, live jazz, wine and beer tasting, bounce house, and vendor booths.
Proceeds from orchid, food, and beverage sales will be disbursed among more than 20 local non-profits and Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary projects. Gubler Orchids is on Belfield Blvd. in Landers.
