The 20th annual Orchid Festival will be two full days of beautiful flowers, music, food, vendors, and lots of fun. Saturday will start with a 5K run, tethered hot air balloon rides, orchid classes for children and adults (sign up early—seating is limited), music, a presentation on 40 years in the desert, and a spectacular fireworks show starting at 7:45. On Sunday, the first 50 guests will receive a free orchid stem, the Yucca Valley High School jazz band will perform, and two more orchid classes for adults.
