The Twentynine Palms Art Gallery will hold an opening reception Saturday, February 2, for its two newest art exhibitions. “Pathways” by Janis Commentz features large and small landscapes in oil, acrylic, and mixed media. “Differences in Common” feature the photography of Denis Johnson and the paintings and prints by Hunter Johnson of the same scene, from different points of view. The opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the art gallery, 74055 Cottonwood Drive in Twentynine Palms. The exhibits will be on display through February 24.
