The annual Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours starts this weekend, October 13-14, and continues the following weekend, October 20-21. The 17th annual art tours includes painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, ceramicists, woodworking, and more who are opening up their studios for visitors to tour and buy art directly from the artists. Most artists are open both weekends. Last year, 10,000 people toured the studios of 150 artists at 95 locations, and nearly half of those visitors were not from the Morongo Basin.
