The Joshua Tree Tortoise Rescue will hold a “Tortoise and the Hare” open house and Easter egg hunt Saturday from 11 to 4. The event will feature an Easter egg hunt starting at noon, vendor booths, music, food, petting zoo, and games and prizes for children of all ages. The cost is a $5 donation for lunch, with children under 5 eating free. All donations are tax deductible. The Tortoise and the Hare open house will be held at 62410 Belmont Avenue in Joshua Tree.
