The 29 Palms Art Gallery is offering free online art classes aimed at youth and the first 10 students to sign up become eligible for a scholarship. Reporter Heather Clisby has details…
On Saturday, January 23, from 10 am until noon, the 29 Palms Art Gallery will sponsor an online class called “How To Draw The Human Body.” Taught by Anna Stump, who has been teaching college-level Life Drawing for more than two decades, the class will be held via zoom.
All participants must pre-register by visiting the website, 29palmsartgallery.com, or at the link below. Cost is $12.50 for non-members and $10 for members. Class sizes are limited to 15 students.
The class is open to anyone over the age of 10 but the first 10 students to enroll do become eligible for a Youth Scholarship for this class or other upcoming classes, such as “Drawing Dinosaurs” on February 20 or “The Art of Collage” on March 13.
In order to obtain the scholarship, email [email protected] with the name of the student and the selected class prior to registering. A one-time promo code will then be provided.
