We have few details about a fatal crash in Yucca Valley Saturday afternoon, but what we do know is one person was killed, and three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Yucca Mesa Road and Douglas Drive at 12:40 p.m. One vehicle rolled over into the desert east of Yucca Mesa Road. The passenger in that vehicle was killed in the crash; the driver was taken to Desert Medical Center in Palm Springs with moderate injuries. The other vehicle sustained major damages but did not roll over; the 25-year-old female driver and a 3-year boy were boy airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center with serious injuries. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
