Also on Friday, a 67-year-old man was injured about 4:10 p.m. in a two-vehicle crash at Highway 62 and Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms. That intersection is currently being prepped for a traffic signal. The injured patient was taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to a local trauma hospital.
