One juvenile was arrested and a second is being sought after a strong arm robbery in Yucca Valley Monday evening. According to Sheriff’s Corporal Steve Everhart, two boys, between the ages of 14 and 16, whose names have not been released due to their ages, attempted to steal alcohol from the Food 4 Less store about 8 p.m. A store clerk tried to stop the two boys from leaving the store; one boy surrendered, but the other boy hit the clerk in the face and then fled. Deputies are actively looking for the second boy.
