At least one person was arrested in a suspected burglary in Twentynine Palms Wednesday. About 8:20 p.m., a neighbor in the 73600 block of Sunnyslope Drive called the Sheriff’s Department to report there were two to three people taking items out of an abandoned house. The neighbor took video of the suspected burglary and reported the license plate and make of the vehicle to Sheriff’s deputies. The deputy made a records check of the license plate and went to the home registered to the plate in the 73400 block of Raymond Drive in Twentynine Palms. Deputies located Veronika Judy, 31, and an unidentified man inside the car, who said a friend told them they could take whatever they wanted from the house. Veronika Judy was arrested for investigation of burglary and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $25,000.
