ONE ARREST AFTER YUCCA VALLEY MACHETE THREATS

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Sunday, accused of terrorizing his stepfather with a machete. According to a Sheriff’s report, Michael Segura, 41, was arguing with his stepfather in the 57300 block of Yucca Trail all day Sunday. About 12:30 p.m., Segura is accused of trying to break down his stepfather’s door, and attacking the door with a machete. After an investigation, Michael Segura was arrested on suspicion of making terrorist threats, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
