A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday, accused of hitting his girlfriend in the head. According to a Sheriff’s report, Edy Morales, 28, was arguing with his girlfriend in the 57000 block of Campanula Street in Yucca Valley about 8 a.m. Monday morning. The woman told deputies Morales hit her in the head, causing swelling and bruising. After an investigation, Edy Morales was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
